Patricia C. Wilson, 92, of Lake Stevens, WA left her earthly body late Wednesday September 14, 2017. Pat was born on September 29, 1924 in Wilmar, MN to Walter and Olive Conway; she was the eldest of three children.
Growing up during the depression in rural Minnesota gave her a deeply rooted sense of faith and fortitude. She answered the call the service during WWII. After graduating high school in 1942, Pat joined the Cadet Nurse Corps. This allowed her to earn a nursing degree from the University of Minnesota in 1945. Nursing was her passion and her career, until she retired from US Public Health Service in 1982.
Pat was married to the love of her life, Wilbert (Ole) Anderson for over 20 years, and had four children. Pat remarried and moved from Seattle to Baltimore. A genuine history buff, she was always ready for an adventure to explore historic sights and museums across the country. She loved sharing these interests with her children and grandchildren. After retirement, Pat and Ed traveled over 100,000 miles in their RV, visiting family and friends all over North America. Eventually, the two made a home in Tuscon, AZ. After Ed's passing in 1997, Pat made her home in Everett, WA, and was an active member at First Presbyterian Church in Everett, as well as the New Comers Club and NARF.
Her parents, siblings and husband preceded her in death: James Conway (Shirley) and Jean Fladeboe (Ronald), R. Edwin Wilson.
She is survived by her children Marsha Murray (Chuck), James Anderson (Judy), Barbara Felhauer, and Joan Anderson; grandchildren: Shawn Anderson (Kelly), Mary Felhauer, Jim Felhauer (Jennifer), Branda Anderson (Theresa), Merridy Chapman, Courtney Murray and Brad Wirth; great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Kyle, Zachary, Jacob, Justin, Cole, and Cooper; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A service of remembrance will take place on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave, Everett, WA 98201. Internment will be held privately for family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat's name to: Tall Timber Ranch, Youth Summer Camp, Leavenworth, WA. www.talltimber.org or a charity of your choice.
